10 years is a big milestone for a company. It’s a milestone that many entrepreneurs dream about when they start a new venture, and so many never get here. The Wave HQ product launched 10 years ago thanks to the vision of our founders Kirk Simpson and James Lochrie, a team of devoted and talented employees and a group of investors that believed in us even when it wasn’t obvious starting with Peter Carrescia who wrote the first cheque and stayed invested right the way through.
I have now been part of the Wave story for half of it. I’ve done some of the most challenging and best work of my life at this company with these people. I’m grateful Kirk for the opportunity he gave me and the belief he has in me and to all the Wavers past and present who got us where we are today and who are propelling us towards an even greater future. We’ve achieved so much and we have so much more to do!
