  1. Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho says nobody will remember he was ever Chelsea manager in five years’ time despite the success he brought to the club. Mourinho will make his fourth trip back to Stamford Bridge as an opposition manager on Sunday as having previously faced his old side once with Inter Milan and twice with Manchester United.
  2. Portuguese coach have a strong connection with the Blues, he appears to be keen to play down their rivalry with Red Devil following some heated recent meetings.
  3. It was a fixture that had plenty of talking points last season, particularly in Chelsea racing 4-0 victory in the Premier League and a controversial FA Cup quarter-final 1-0 win in March.
  4. Former Real Madrid and Porto handler Mourinho clashed with current Chelsea coach Antonio Conte on the touchline and was verbally abused by home fans during the match.
  5. He also faced heavy criticism over his tactics, with Blues keeper Thibaut Courtois accusing him of setting up his side to kick Eden Hazard repeatedly in a match that saw Ander Herrera sent off for fouling the Belgium winger
  6. Mourinho had his revenge in a league match at Old Trafford a month later, as Herrera marked Hazard out of the game in a 2-0 United victory.
  7. But the United manager is determined to avoid the sort of nastiness that has been a feature of recent games between the sides.
  8. “I played there with Inter (Milan) and twice with Manchester United,” he said at United’s training base on Thursday.
  9. “I have to admit it’s a little bit different but in the end I want to win like I did with Inter. They (Chelsea) want to win like they did last season, and it’s just one more day.
  10. “And in a couple of years, it will be even more natural, and in four or five years probably nobody will remember that I was Chelsea manager and it becomes absolutely normal, just because I left .
  11. "It's a big thing because it's a big match, because it's a big opponent, because it's the champions. It's one of these matches between the top teams in the country. But from the emotional point of view, it's just one more game.
  12. Mourinho last two visit to Chelsea end up in a defeat, but he hope to get a positive result this term.
