My ear is hot from receiving calls and mouth paining me from talking becos someone close to me has called off her wedding which is coming up in less than three weeks today.
The first two days I was told to intervene I didn't call her because I kept asking myself what will I do if it were to be me.I later called her and told her that whatever she decides is ok by me and I will support her and she said she wants out.
I called her hubby and told him to prepare for the worst because she has made up her mind.Hian!! The guy burst cry oo and my heart melted.
The guy slapped her on the heat of arguement and she called off the wedding.🙆🙆🙆.Mehn! I don't support the guy hitting her but where is forgiveness or love or tolerance.I suggested she gets a lawyer to draft a document stating that he will never abuse her verbally or physically again which he will sign(that's what I would do if I were in her shoes). She told the guy so and he said its ok by him and even swore on his late mothers grave that it won't happen again.
My headache now is that the babe confided in me that she no longer has feelings for the guy and won't show up on D-Day.I'm begging her to avoid the scandal and show up for the wedding afterwards if their issues can't be resolved they should quietly walk away.
I don't know what to say again Biko,Na wa!!! This is why I still dey shine my eyes before saying YES to the ring.Marriage no be beans oooo
