A50 crash causes major delays near Chellaston
A crash involving a lorry and a car on the A50 between the Chellaston and Alvaston turn-offs is causing major delays.
The incident has led to heavy congestion on the eastbound side of the carriageway.

Driver behind A38 delays gets ticket for 'causing unnecessary obstruction'
A driver who police say is behind delays on the A38 this morning has been given a ticket for “causing an unnecessary obstruction”.
Derbyshire police’s roads unit said the motorist ran out of fuel near the Coxbench turn-off before pulling over to the side of the road.
Traffic company Inrix said there has been “very slow traffic” on the southbound side of the carriageway from about 8.25am.
