AzharSEO is so right - links for social media is proof to google that you got good content. DO not manipulate social proof - let it be natural. The power of links from social proof is not strong and IMHO will have no real effect with your ranking (of course i'm excluding G+ in this debate). The mot important thing from social media is social proof.
