  1. If you made the purchase with another of our merchants, to open a case, follow these steps:
  2. 1.Log into your PayPal account.
  3. 2.Report the case in our Resolution Center within 45 days of your purchase.
  4. 3.Litigation click on a transaction.
  5. 4.Litigation select an object.
  6. PayPal maintains open lines of communication between buyers and sellers, making it easier to quickly find an amicable solution.
  7. As many disputes arise from misunderstandings, they are often easy to solve. However, if you and the seller can not find a common ground for yourself, you can escalate the dispute claim. This means that PayPal will make a decision, giving reason to yourself or to the seller.
  8. If you decide to file a dispute, be aware that you must do so within 45 days of your payment, and you and the seller have 20 days to find a solution.
  9. In addition, if you choose to escalate the dispute claim, you must do so within 20 days from the creation of the dispute, otherwise it is automatically closed.
