  1. Hardware/provider recommendations for Plesk as a webhost?
  2. I've been getting all my materials together for my web hosting business and I've decided to go with Plesk - mainly because of the cPanel price range.

  12. I'm asking for recommendations for hardware specifications (like cpu cores, ram, storage, etc) and/or provider recommendations. I'm fine with dedicated or VPS - I don't really know which one I should choose. I'm planning to grow to a very decent number of clients (probably around 30+) with no resellers, as they would probably overburden the system. I'm thinking that most people will only host one domain, but of course there's going to be people with more than one.
  13. But yeah, any recommendations for this would be extremely helpful to me. Thanks!
  14. (also I didn't really know what forum to put this in so I put it here)
  15. Just to be sure, you know that Plesk has the same owner like cPanel?

  26. Yes, but I'm saying that cPanel has had a price rise and it is more expensive now.
  27. Please share your target location and monthly budget.
  28. East Coast of USA, and preferably under ~$60-75 per month.
  29. As just starting out, a VPS will likely be fine for you or you could even try a reseller account. Check out fastserv as they have an Ashburn location, though not 100% sure if VPS services are there also.

  45. I doubt they will follow the same model with Plesk after all the Cpanel backlash.
