  1. Finding the way to basic, honest work from home. Bitcoins, litecoins, dodgecoins, etherium etc.....where does someone start or where does this end? Can I go create my own currency? And then make money of it? Didn't the last recession happen because there wasn't enough gold or land or whatever to back up US dollars? What is backing up these new currencies? Satoshi Nakamoto or whatever his name is, must have a palace made of gold that cost I don't know how many btc to build.....really? I've spent money on btc. Wanted to know what it's all about. The next gold rush, the next super-discovery on "how to get rich quick". What I've found so far is that legitimate people use real existing currencies, while black-hats, anons and other bad intent hackers are creating sites just for the hell of it....they get your info and away they go, entering our computers through what we perceive as innocent software. These aren't even viruses, so some pc antivirus and anti-malware may not catch it (you should always buy the best protection for your pc, even if it means spending a few extra bucks). Our electronic world is becoming ever more dangerous by the minute. I wanted to know what a hack is and what a hacker does.....remember Wikileaks? It's too bad I forgot the man's name, but he only had good intentions. He didn't enter anyone's bank account, didn't hack any credit card, didn't create a program to enter our computers and destroy our lives. That happened to me. I had one of them do that to ME. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my precious credit card go into the red.....and I barely ever use the thing. I had excellent credit and good money in my bank. I spent half of it between the theft and trying to correct what they did to me. My credit score plunged 100 points down before I figured out what was happening. Some coward behind a screen logging my inputs, getting my passwords, card numbers, everything and anything I created for myself. Now, I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me....just stating what happened and I'm still 45 days later, trying to correct the destruction he created in my life. And I don't even know him or her, never did anything to hurt them. I always minded my own business, because I figured a long time ago that we're not all compatible and because familiarity brings contempt, people will make it their point to cause you some trouble. Why we are like this, I don't know. We're not meant to like everyone, get along with all people, make every person our friend. That's impossible. Not even nature is that way. We're just supposed to do the right thing (or rather just not do the wrong thing), live our lives in peace and enjoy as much as we can. Remember that very wise saying? "Do not do on to others what you wouldn't like done to yourself?" or something along those lines, but you get the point. The other thing I learned is that crypto-currencies, aren't so "crypto" (means hidden, unknown, covered etc). Because every single bitcoin site out there, wants your info. A picture of you holding your drivers license, passport etc....the exact opposite of hidden. Wow, ask me for my face pic holding a drivers license once more and I'll do you one better, find a random one on the net and send it to you.
  2. You know what I decided? I rely way too much on these machines to do my work and live my life. Want to go back to paper and pen. From now on, I'll visit my bank, I'll go out for coffee instead of talking to strangers that I can't put a face on. I'll get a life back. Good I learned now in my 40's than 10 years from now, when everything will rely on computing and data.
  3. That's all I had to say to all you good folks out there. Live, love and have fun.
