Hey guys,
First thread since I joined, would like to start off with a tutorial that should help save time and work when RDPing into lots of VPS at once. Anyone that used AWS/Google Cloud knows that connecting to lots of Servers you got to RDP into each one. Entering their stupid random passwords and working with alot of windows.
So after looking for a solution that would save time and help manage alot of servers I started using RDP manager (Microsoft's version) but still it's pretty limited and can't import passwords for logging into servers. I dropped RDP manager and found an even better manager that is pretty cool by another company.
RDP that I use: http://remotedesktopmanager.com/
signup for the 30 day trial, pretty sure there must be crack somewhere for this but for now I am using the 30 day trial to test it out. If your planning to use it for a long time and rely heavily on it then try supporting them and buy it (costs 50$).
Their RDP manager has the capabilities of importing a list of servers, login, and passwords in the form of several file types. We are going to use excel (.csv) offcourse. The easiest and fastest way to do it.
1.Once you got the manager installed, start it up and go to the "Edit Tab"
2. Click on "New Entry" then "New Entry again" on the pop up window as shown in the screenshot below, in some cases that popup window won't show if you don't have anything added before:

3.The "Add a new entry" Window will open, expand the "Import" title then pick csv. On the right side pane select "Import Session Csv Wizard", here's a screenshot of what you should be at:

4. Once ready, hit "OK". You'll then be asked to select a ".csv" file. I have supplied below a .csv template to add your servers in.
Template: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fgt0fd2i6br46kr/template-rdp.csv?dl=0 (it's 1KB in size impossible to infect with anything ;) )
Simply add the name you want to be displayed for each server, it can be anything, the login column is the username used when RDPing into the VPS, the host is the IP address of the VPS, and finally the password to login into VPS.
NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE THE HEADERS OR ELSE IMPORT WILL NOT WORK. ONE VPS PER ROW.
5. Now that you got your csv file and supplied it to the import wizard, click through the wizard ignoring other settings. (Check the blank template option on the next page).
6. Click "Finish" and see your servers added displayed on the left pane side of the manager, similar to this:

7. Now we got Our servers in place, we need to import the passwords for each server. Now Repeat step 2.
8. Instead of choosing the "Import session csv wizard" we are going to choose "Import login csv wizard".
9. On the next page, the "Import Generic Login from CSV" click on the dropdown menu for the "Header format Instruction" and select "Import as Credential Entry".

10. Supply the same csv file we used in the previous steps and hit "OK". You'll now see a new list of credentials for each server:

11. Now that we have both the servers and the passwords imported we simply need to assign each server it's set of credentials. Simply Select the first server in the list for example, you'll see the "Actions" pane for the selected server. Click on "Open Select Credential" and a new window will open with the list of credentials for each server. Select the correct credentials and click ok. It will automatically connect, log you in. Do this for all servers in the list, this is a one time thing as links are created between the login and credential entries
