The Cradle of Humankind is a World Heritage Site declared by UNESCO. This is because it is a rich Paleoanthropological site with miles of very complex limestone caves. Moreover, many discoveries about the Earth’s human history can be found here. Some even date back to 3.5 million years ago. It is most definitely places to visit in South Africa. This includes Plover’s lake, Cooper’s cave, Wonder Cave and more. All contain fragments of the earliest humans ever recorded which are pretty amazing!
