The Anse Kerlan beach lies at the other side of the airport. Amazingly, this beach stretches from a village to the north up to the airport. This wild beach has no breakwaters and even has a nearby resort called Grande Anse Kerlan. They offer snorkelling activities and allow swimming here. You may also spot enormous sea turtles lay an incredible amount of eggs on the beach. It is better to stay at a hotel near the beach to avoid the hassles of travelling back and forth, as well.
