  1. can someone explain to me why these two video cards are the same price when one is 1 GB and the other is 2 GB? maybe i only need one gig but still why wouldn't i just get the 2 gig one for the same money, what am i missing? what specs should i be looking at when determining the quality of a video card?
  2. Basically there are 3 main factors that will contribute to how much vram your game will use- the screen resolution you play at, the visual quality detail settings, and anti aliasing.
  3. However, none of this matters much if you're being bottlenecked by the graphics chipset itself - at the entry game card level point, you absolutely want the faster chipset (in this case the GTX 650ti)
  4. The 650 just isn't designed to for high resolutions and maxed settings to begin with, the excess vram they stuck on the thing is pure gimmick... because hey, 2gb is more than 1gb and is "obviously" better :rolleyes:
