Will have about 4 hours to shop for a macbook pro, SSD drive, extra ram, carry case, and all accessories for my Macbook Pro.. I know the price isn't much cheaper in BKK, but nevertheless.. What is THE best Apple store in? I would assume since its the largest mall? It seems Pantip doesn't give much off a discount.. I won't have time to run around BKK so I need the LARGEST Mac store in BKK with possibility of most items in stock, thanks! Also I'd prefer USA version voltage and no Thai letters on keyboard, despite how cool they actually look. They have pretty much everything.. Digital Gateway, just across the street isn't far behind, but in my mind, the CentralWorld store is the bigger one of the two.. Although they might install any ram you buy, it's doubtful they will touch the hard drive. For that, I will still point you to the Uficon Authorized Apple Service Center, 4th floor,. I want to upgrade RAM, and include matte finish on my screen.. Or must I buy the stock HDD waste money, and toss the HDD then buy a third party SSD on my own.. GOPBI, unfortunately I don't think is connected to my hotel per Googlemaps?? My hotel is at 1695 Phaholyothin Road, 10900,, I believe the mall next to me is just a smaller one with no iStudio.. The one nice thing about shopping is that in most cases, there's not a shortage of actual in-store staff.. Every time I've been to an iStuido to be fair, I usually to to they've addressed the issue on-the-spot.. As example, my fiancee needed the new update installed for her OS and was having issues with that.. She dropped off her Mac and we came back in :90 and it was uploaded and installed.. Again, we left it there and came back in about an hour and it was installed ready to go.. Naturally, what you want done and the complexity will be a driver, but just based on my experiences, they're more than good about doing this for you. Travel Safe, PS: Since we've now determined where your hotel actually is, I'd still suggest and it's still very possible to visit two, if not three iStuidos in a short time period. So, you do have three separate shops all within and very small geographic area that you can compare 9 of 15 · Stopped by the iStudio at Paragon this morning. They will not install SSDs at their store; what they got is what you get. The screen protector, and the RAM shouldn't be a problem. But, I think your only hope of having a custom built, like the SSD, on prem, will be Uficon. Their Apple Authorized Service telephone number is 0-2256-0807. I'd give them a call and find out what they can do. In any case, do let us know what you find.
