have you ever looked at the atlas world map and tried to put the pieces of the 6 continents together? Like actually put each piece into a corner of the other like - say Tetris. I did it with my dad as a child. We concluded that the world was most likely a circle until it was divided (Gen 10:25 seems to briefly record this and was the spur of this inference)
What I'm saying is, the animals may not have hopped to other continents, post-flooding. Maybe they even strolled casually..... 😊 the recorded division was in the days of Noah's listed descendants.
