This wetland is found 30 kms northwest of the capital and is made out of Batuco Lagoon and San Rafael dam. It is a piece of a need protection site in which inhabits slightest fifty types of winged creatures, including the Wigeon Duck, who at times visits the nation, Tilefish, whose homes buoy, and Herons, Dancers, Chirigües or Swans. Authorities characterize it as "the most vital common wetland in the Metropolitan Region" to a limited extent in light of the fact that it harbors a few jeopardized animal categories like the Huairavillo, Black Swan Neck, Pussy Heron and Shoveler, among others
