  1. Mouse Hunter gives you the ability to use your mouse wheel to scroll horizontally as well as vertically with just a touch of a button. Choose the hot key you'd prefer to activate this feature, and you're ready to maximize your mouse's scrolling potential.
  2. Pros
  3. Horizontal scrolling: This can be a pretty big headache, and especially if you have a lot of windows open on a smaller screen, you'll want to be able to pan sideways, as well as up and down. This app makes that possible, and in a very convenient way.
  4. Customizable: Of course, you still want to be able to scroll vertically, which is why the horizontal scroll feature needs to be activated with a hot key. The app lets you choose the hot key you'd prefer, with options including Shift, Control, or the right or left mouse buttons.
  5. Cons
  6. Cluttered interface: The Settings window is really the only interface this app has, and most of the information on it is really ads for other apps. This makes the interface feel cluttered and makes it a little harder to figure out what you're actually trying to do, at first.
  7. Bottom Line
  8. This app works well, and it adds a nice bit of functionality to your mouse controls. And since it's free, there's no harm in checking it out to see if it would be useful to you.
  9. Publisher's Description
  10. From Aml Pages:
  11. Mouse Hunter is a free utility that optimizes the work with the mouse wheel. When you spin the mouse wheel it scrolls the UI element that is located under the mouse pointer, not the element that has the input focus (which responds to the keyboard input) as it usually happens in Windows. It works with almost all applications. It sits in your system tray as an icon. Left-click on the icon to enable or disable the Mouse Hunter. Double left-click on the icon to open settings. Right-click on the icon to get the context menu. In the settings you can enable horizontal scrolling when certain buttons are pressed.
