  5. Linux distro
  6. Android phone
  7. USB cable
  8. ADB
  10. Step 1.
  11. 1.Connect your phone to your PC using USB cable.
  13. Step 2.
  14. - Installing ADB over terminal
  15. 1.Boot into any Linux distro you have.
  16. 2.Open up terminal and type :
  18. Quote:sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb
  20. This will install ADB.
  22. Step 3.
  23. - Disabling pattern unlock over terminal
  24. 1.Open up terminal again and type :

  30. adb devices
  31. adb shell
  32. cd data/system
  33. su
  34. rm *.key
  36. Now,disconnect your phone and reboot.Unlock pattern should be here.Just try some random gesture and it will unlock.
