How to install City Life RPG 2
IMPORTANT NOTES
-The following steps will guide you to download City Life RPG mod and prepare you to join the server. To receive help during this process please join our Teamspeak 3 server and sit in the "Waiting for help" channel or use the Support system on the web site. Spamming the shoutbox will only make you start on the wrong foot with the admins.
-Never use special characters for your name and password, only letters and numbers. 0-9/a-Z
-No CLAN tags allowed.
-Your a forum Member of www.cityliferpg.com and making sure that you use the same username for the forums, Teamspeak and game Server.
-Important All Players must be active on OUR Teamspeak server at all times to play on the game server.
-You need to use the CL 2 RPG Launcher to join the server, steps to install are on this page.
-Before playing, join us on Teamspeak for a brief introduction and to receive the passwords for the channels and server.

To join City Life's Teamspeak 3 server, your security level needs to be at a minimum of 27. If you need to improve it, follow these steps : Click on Settings -> Identities ->Improve and follow the steps.
Step 1 : The answer must be YES to all of the following questions before proceeding to STEP 2
Do you have a working mic?
Do you have a Arma2/Arma2Free and Arma2 Operation Arrowhead(FULL) installed and working?

Do you have TEAMSPEAK 3 installed? If not, download at TeamSpeak - Critical Error
Your Ping to our server is under 350ms
You are over the age of 16
Step 2 : Download and install the CL RPG 2 Launcher
1.Download link : Install - CL2 Launcher Setup and Six updater
2.Follow the install Wizard
If you are on Windows Vista or 7, you need to run the CL 2 RPG Launcher as an administrator. To do so :
-Make sure it's not running
-Go in the installation directory
32 bits OS : C:\Program Files\City Life RPG\CL2 Launcher
64 bits OS : C:\Program Files (x86)\City Life RPG\CL2 Launcher
-Right click on CL2Launcher.exe and click properties
-Go in the Compatibility tab
-Add a check mark in the box : Run this program as an administrator
Check your Launcher's version, should be 1.0.0.350 or higher. If not, refer to the How to manually update City Life Launcher at the bottom of this document.
Step 3 : Install SIX Updater from the CL RPG 2 Launcher
1.Go in the Six Updater tab and click Install City Life
2.Fallow the steps the install steps
If you are on Windows Vista or 7, you need to run Six Updater GUI as an administrator. To do so :
-Make sure it's not running
-Go in the installation directory
32 bits OS : C:\Program Files\SIX Projects\Six Updater
64 bits OS : C:\Program Files (x86)\SIX Projects\Six Updater
-Right click on Six Updater GUI.exe and click properties
-Go in the Compatibility tab
-Add a check mark in the box : Run this program as an administrator
Step 4 : Preparing Six Updater for it's first run
1.Start Six Updater GUI by double clicking the Six Updater GUI.exe
2.Click the blue rectangle on top left
3.Click on options
4.Remove everything in the ServerMods box, it needs to be blank
5.Click OK
6.Close Six Updater
Step 5 : Download City Life mod
1.From the City life Launcher, click update City Life from Six Updater . Six updater will open and download what you need. While it's downloading, you can watch a orientation video (at the bottom of this thread) to help you familiarize your self with the mod for your first connection to the game server.
Step 6 : Configuring the launcher
1.Main tab
Put a check mark in :
-NoSplash
-Beta
-ShowScriptErrors
-NoFilePatching
-Enable auto connect
Leave password blank
Step 7 : Getting into TS3 Ready for you interview
In-order to join in the fun you must first have an interview by either an admin or TS helper to start you interview you must join the "Waiting to get on server" and wait for assistance.
Do not bug/harass admins as we are all players and may be busy at the time if you are unable to see an admin/ts helper then please PM one on the forums.
2.Settings tab
Give the path to your Arma2 and Arma2 OA

***How to manually update city life launcher***
1. Install the launcher(*See City Life Launcher tool)
2. Open folder:
32bit:C:\Program Files\City Life RPG\CL2 Launcher
64bit:C:\Program Files (x86)\City Life RPG\CL2 Launcher
3. Edit updater.xml and change 1.0.0.*** to 1.0.0.1
4. run CL2Launcher Updater.exe
5. Click download
6. Click install
7. run CL2Launcher.exe
