I'm happy she remembered to include "vice versa". Anybody who's abusing his or her spouse may have grown up seeing that done and adopted same. The problem is that most of the abused don't speak up and don't even want to admit that they're being abused. If you notice a change or changes in behavior of your brother or sister, please do your subtle investigation and try to help the abused. Violence is becoming a great issue in too many homes
