Hello all, I have had my eee pad for a while now, and got the dock for it a while after, it worked great for a while until suddenly it more or less stopped working. What it does is randomly disconnects itself from the tablet even though its all plugged in. From what I can tell it is connected if I have the hinge closed because I see the next time i open it up its been charged, but as soon as I open it, it shows as if the dock is not plugged in. I opened up the dock and pulled the wires out of the hinge, I can mostly get it to work fine, but If i move the tablet around very much it does the same thing. From what I can tell the wires or something is getting pulled out of place when moved which makes the tablet think that the dock has been unplugged. Does anyone have any ideas as of what I can do? Is there a place that sells spare parts, or does someone know of a fix to this? Or should i just trash the dock and get a different type of keyboard thing due to this and battery problems which may come along down the line anyway. As far as I've read on forms no one else has had this problem. I don't have a warranty on this as I do not have a proof of purchase anymore, and because I have already opened up the dock.
