"We stand prepared to take an interest at whatever level India needs us to partake," Mr Harris said.
Chief of naval operations Harris ceased from giving any answer on India and the United States beginning to share data about Chinese submarines in the Indian Ocean area.
"I would prefer not to answer the inquiry, since I would prefer not to suggest that I'm sharing insight, or anything like that. I'll just essentially say that a cozy connection amongst US and India is plainly useful to the United States, and I trust accommodating to India also," he said accordingly.
Mr Harris emphasized that he trusts that the developing US-India relationship is the characterizing key association for the 21st century.
"I'm extremely intrigued, and exceptionally strong, of what's going on in India. The Indian military, and that entire piece...I feel that the open doors for our two nations are essentially awesome. It's awesome," Mr Harris said.
Taking note of that India remains an imperative line of exertion at the Pacific Command, Mr Harris said America's national authority is working intimately with India's to develop the association between the two nations.
