Bayern Munich coach Carlo Ancelotti has defended himself against criticism after a 2-0 defeat at Hoffenheim on Saturday.
"I'm used to criticism, but frankly it's gone, I'm not yesterday," Ancelotti said in an interview with Sky Sports on Tuesday.
International midfielder Thomas Muller expressed his displeasure at his role on the pitch and his lack of opportunity to play mainly with the Bavarian club.
"Muller always finds the right place on the pitch, behind Robert Levandowski, but not behind him completely, but a little away from him," Ancelotti said.
"I never pushed Moller in the center of the right wing, because I'm not naïve, I know he is not a wing."
Ancelotti crowned the Champions League three times with AC Milan and Real Madrid.
The Italian coach was supported by Bayern Munich captain Manuel Noir.
"The coach is very knowledgeable about us all and will make the best use of the players," said Noir.
Bayern, who play for Belgium's Anderlecht on Tuesday, will meet Bayern Munich in the first group stage of the Champions League.
