5 minutes ago my heart stopped beating
two minutes ago all brain signals ceased
my sense of self is dead
I am core elements again
the oxygen content of wind
the hydrogen burning in stars
my atoms have existed since existence began
I'd limit my own experience to demand
they always retain this shape
consciousness comes in many forms
and frequencies
that until I experience, I cannot comprehend
but I can remember
If I listen to the memories
the energy
the empathy, vibrations, the physics
and the chemistry
the history of the universe written in every cell that was me
I'm not dead
