I just find it very interesting this happened right before the asteroid's fly-by later today. Coincidence? Not coincidence?
Add to the fact that a couple strange things as far as electronics acting oddly tonight where I am, where the power flickered for a few moments and then my brothers touch screen on his phone, which has been dark/blank since it's broken, briefly started working again while the power flickers where happening... it just doesn't feel right. My brother thinks it's possible the asteroid took out a satellite already, but that wouldn't explain the touch screen showing the phones background for a few seconds. Would it?
The thing about the phone is actually what prompted me to post about solar flares in a separate thread, because a flare might have had something to do with it.
