  1. How to create an Email
  2. Many of us already have an email address without realizing it. That is if you have an Android Phone. (I will cover the difference between Mobile Operating Systems including Android in another article). Let's get back to our discussion.
  3. When you buy your first GENUINE android touch phone ( Samsung, Huawei, Alcatelat etc) at a dealer, you will be asked to register your phone when you switch it on for the first time. For current phones, this is also a security features. If you ever lose your phone or forget your password or want to reset your phone, you will be asked to enter the original email address or phone number you entered when you first used it. There is also options for skipping the registration process but it is advisable that you follow through with the registration. Also you must have pre-loaded data on your Sim as you will need that to register your phone.
  4. When you are asked to register your phone as a first user, you will be asked to register. Usually you will be asked to enter these information.
  5. * First Name, Surname, a "User Name", "A pass word", a password hint and a computer generated verification code.
  6. * It's important to remember your "User Name" and "Password". This is actually your email account.
  7. * When you have completed the registration process and start to use your phone, you can look up your email address in your phone. You can do this by going to the Gmail App on your phone. Your email address will be shown to you. For example if you have entered a user name as johnnydep. In the Gmail app it will appear as johnnydep@gmail.com. This is your email address and if anybody ever ask for your email address, you can give that email address. Any email send to you can be found in the Gmail app in your phone.
  8. * Keep a record of your email address and password somewhere safe. If you buy a new Android phone, you do not need to register a new name. Just use your old email address. All android phones are Google registered devices and your email can be used across all Android devices regardless of their different brand names.
  9. Before we close off remember if you own a new android phone, you might already have an email address if you had gone through the process of registering your phone for first use.
  10. Hope this is helpful.
