  16. You won't get a Windows VPS for $3/month. The IP and the license would cost more than that, even if I ignore the hardware cost for a while.
  18. Is there a reason you need Windows? You can perhaps get a budget linux VM for that price
  20. Not going to happen, feasible not possible unless the Windows licenses are cracked and not paid.
  22. Stick to shared windows and you might probably get some luck.

  31. your budget is good for shared hosting but not for VPS hosting
  33. Problem with Windows is the license, that is why it costs more. Therefore, when a customer asks for Windows, that customer must be ready to pay extra, just for that Windows license. If that customer asks for refund, some providers refuse to refund the Windows license, as it belongs to the customer because he/she bought it.
  35. So now the question is: are you sure you want Windows and wish to pay more just for this? Do you actually need it?
  37. Microsoft increased price of Data center licenses, so it is hard to offer VPS less than 10 USD/EUR.
  39. It may be possible with unreliable underground provider, which uses trial licenses or violate Microsoft policies in other ways. Would you trust in that company?
  41. 3$ seems difficult (I'm not sure how anyone can make a profit with 3$), but not too far from what is possible. For datacenter licenses, there are ways to get discounted price on legitimate ones, without using cracked/unpaid licenses.
