Room 7️⃣2️⃣5️⃣...This room changed my life.
▪️This is where I found out I had cancer.
▪️This is where I saw life through a new lens.
▪️I made new life-long friendships in this room.
▪️I learned life’s most valuable lessons in this room.
▪️I lost my hair and expressed every emotion in this room as I questioned my future but never let it control my determination.
I’ve been to Shadyside hospital frequently recently, supporting other cancer survivors and when passing room 725, I reflect on the past 15yrs. I’ve learned more than I ever imagined could be possible.
What I’ve learned the most?
We don’t know how much time we have.
Live your best life. GIVE BACK. Volunteer. Donate. However you can give...do it. It is by far the biggest reward in life. I promise you. ❤️🙏🏼
