  8. In January 2015 I had the opportunity to buy and test my first "SP20 Jackson"
  9. Bitcoin Miner! Spondoolies already started to sell/ship the units in Nov 2014.
  10. The SP20 is currently the best ASIC hardware miner available on the market for
  11. serious home users who intend to mine Bitcoin BTC and other SHA256-based coins
  12. effectively despite rising mining difficulty.
  13. Spondoolies have also released their SP30 Series (SP31 & SP35 Yukon) for users
  14. and professional companies out there who build big mining farms and centers.
  15. With dropping prices the units start to become affordable to even home users.
  16. Here are my current stats after approx. 6 hours (1/4 of a day) of test mining :
  17. ================================================================================
  18. Bitcoin BTC Stats
  19. ================================================================================
  20. Current Mining Diff : 41,272,873,895
  21. Next Mining Diff : 40,244,179,486
  22. Mining Diff is decreasing in 2015 (!) due to mining companies and home miners
  23. taking old and outdated hardware offline. This is a good chance for serious
  24. miners to start mining with latest hardware, such as SP20, during this year...!

  87. Note that hashrate peaks of 2 TH/s and higher run only for a couple of seconds
  88. on the 8 ASIC boards 0 to 7, depending on current voltage (vlt), Watt (W) and
  89. Hertz (hz) outputs. Effective hashrate is displayed as [H:HW:xxxxGh]. See above.
  90. According to Spondoolies Software Director Zvi Shteingart the effective hashrate
  91. can be increased to 1.9 TH/s with two "EVGA SuperNova 1300 G2" PSU's powering up
  92. one SP20 unit and experimenting with various voltage settings. I haven't tested
  93. this yet. So far I'm running steady at effective 1.6x TH/s with one EVGA PSU.
