What was leaked?
> Numerous DBs on the host, however the user database wasn't taken - only information containing payments for upgrades was. This includes address + phone number information for all upgraded accounts - Cakey says the size was around 7MB
Who is affected?
> If your account was upgraded AFTER 1st April 2014, the payment information for the upgrade(s) will be in the DB. Any upgrades after June 28th 2014 are also safe.
Someone bought me my upgrade, was my data included?
> No

> In short, yes.
Donations, stickies ando other purchases
> Only upgrade data was taken. If you have bought stickies or donated, that information was not part of the "leak"
Credit Card Information
> No payment information (CC numbers etc) was stored. That is safe with the payment processor used for the transaction.
Why was this information stored?
> Address info was stored to ensure that no transactions were fraudulent. In addition, this information could be used in the case of an upgraded account being lost and requiring the owner to recover it.
Was my password leaked?
> No
Is it safe to upgrade now?
> Yes.
Has the information been posted publicly?
> As of writing this (07/12/2014), no. And I doubt it will be. However, the DB entries of members in the "Maid Cafe" group have been released.
