The point was to compare the dead soldiers of all partys involved. Its incomplete at best missing the winter war for example and fraudulent at worst when counting katyn as Nazi crime. There isn't some hidden political message in here, nor is it trying to educate on the fallen of world war 2 war. It's about the staggering amount of human deaths. It's not just the weather that fucks up invading forces in Russia, the Russians will fight you to their last man, woman and child. It really is victory or death, especially when it comes to the motherland. Of course sheer numbers means less and less as warfare technology progresses, but there is something to be said about sheer tenacity. The video is supposedly a breakdown of the dead but it leaves out entire chunks of it when the creator feels like rather covering it up or attributes them to the wrong parties on what can only be described to as on purpose. It's the personal bias of the creator showing who's propagating false informations to try and influence people in a certain way.
