Two of Japan's largest crypto-exchange exchanges are planning to offer their customers insurance products designed to prevent losses due to unsuccessful transactions and malfunctions in trading platforms. According to the publication, Japan's largest cryptographic exchange bitFlyer cooperates with Mitsui Suitomo Insurance, which is a subsidiary of MS & AD Insurance Holdings Group. Offering similar insurance services, the Japanese exchange Coincheck announced a partnership with Tokio Marine and Nichido Fire Insurance. More detailed information on the new services introduced by the exchanges is still unknown. Recall, April 1, 2017 in Japan came into force a law that recognizes digital currencies, including bitcoin, a legal way of paying for goods and services.
