  2. Welcome to botbot - the intelligent bot. Below are the instructions.
  3. Most of botbot's service are totally free to use with the exception of the dice roll
  4. game. If you like botbot maybe you could consider donating a few pennies using the
  5. donate command, details below.
  6. Botbot was recently re-written from the ground up to include user balances to allow
  7. you to bet smaller amounts on the dice roll game and to save in tipping taxes. Enjoy!
  8. ##User Balances
  9. To add to you balance simply tip botbot an amount above 0.25 mBTC and it will be
  10. credited to your balance.
  11. --> /tip botbot <amt>
  12. Where <amt> is the amount above 0.25 mBTC you wish to deposit.
  13. To check your balance simply use the bal command as shown below:
  14. --> !bal
  15. To withdraw your balance use the cashout command as shown below:
  16. --> !cashout <amt>
  17. Where <amt> is the amount above 0.25 mBTC you wish to withdraw. If <amt> is not
  18. specified, your whole balance will be withdrawn.
  19. To donate some or all of your balance to botbot to help support its development use
  20. the donate command as shown below:
  21. --> !donate <amt>
  22. There <amt> is the amount you wish to donate. If <amt> is not specified your whole
  23. balance will be donated.
  24. ##Dice Roll Game
  25. To play the dice roll game you must have deposited some mBTC into your balance. Then
  26. you simply roll the two dice with the roll command as shown below:
  27. --> !roll <bet>
  28. Where <bet> is the amount between 0.1 and 1.5 mBTC that you wish to bet. This will be
  29. taken from your balance. The odds of winning are detialed below.
  30. If you roll a double 6 you win 4x you bet!
  31. If you roll a double you win 2x your bet.
  32. If you roll a single 6 you win 1.5x your bet.
  33. There is a 4 in 9 chance of winning a prize!
  34. If you don't believe me all the combanations are as follows:
  35. (1,1), (2,2), (3,3), (4,4), (5,5), (6,6), (6,1), (6,2), (6,3), (6,4), (6,5), (1,6),
  36. (2,6), (3,6), (4,6), (5,6)
  37. Thats 16 possible wins out of 36 (6^6) possibilities which is 4 in 9.
  38. ##Currency Conversion
  39. Botbot's currency conversion allows you to convert between bitcoins and many other
  40. world-wide currencies. Unlike moobot's Currency conversion it allows you to convert
  41. from other currencies to bitcoins as well as vice versa. To use botbot's currency
  42. converter user the command as shown below:
  43. --> !ex <amt> <currency 1> <currency 2>
  44. <amt> is the amount of currency 1 which you wish to convert into currency 2
  45. For example if you wanted to know what $10 USD was in BTC you would type:
  46. --> !ex 10 USD BTC
  47. At least one of the currencies must be a form of bitcoins. This can be any of the
  48. following:
  49. BTC, cBTC, mBTC, uBTC, SAT, satoshi(s)
  50. One of the currencies can be any one of the following world currencies:
  51. USD, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, NZD, PLN, RUB, SGD, THB, NOK, CZK,
  52. JPY, SEK
  53. ##Artificial intelligence
  54. bobot takes advantage of the powerful Wolfram Alpha website to bring you informative
  55. artificial intelligence. You can make queries to Wolfram Alpha using the comman as
  56. shown below:
  57. --> !ai <query string>
  58. For example if you wanted to know what the weather was like in New York you could type:
  59. --> !ai Whats the weather like in New York?
  60. Or if you prefer:
  61. --> !ai weather new york

  64. Please do not abuse or excessively use this feature. Without paying for access to
  65. Wolfram Alpha botbot is limited to 2000 requests per month which isn't many at all
  66. (one every 21 minutes).
  67. ##Insults
  68. You can insult other users in any room (except offtopic) using the command as
  69. shown below:
  70. --> !insult <user> <room>
  71. Where <user> is the user you wish to insult and <room> is the room to insult them
  72. in. <room> is optional, if not specified it will default to current room. Also, it
  73. cannot be offtopic top avoid spam.
  74. ##Flirting
  75. You can flirt with other users in any room (except offtopic) using the command as
  76. shown below:
  77. --> !flirt <user> <room>
  78. Where <user> is the user you wish to flirt with and <room> is the room to insult
  79. them in. <room> is optional, if not specified it will default to current room. Also,
  80. it cannot be offtopic top avoid spam.

  82. You can search Google and have the top result returned to you in the chat using the
  83. command as shown below:
  84. --> !search <query string>
  85. For example if you wanted to search for Bitcoin faucets you could type:

  87. ##YouTube Search
  88. You can search YouTube and have the top result returned to you in the chat using the
  89. command as shown below:
  90. --> !watch <query string>
  91. For example if you wanted to search for funny cat videos you could type:

  94. You can search GrooveShark and have the top result returned to you in the chat using the
  95. command as shown below:
