When you come right down to it, all resolutions are about self-improvement, and that’s admirable. I think what’s important is realizing what goals are realistic. It’s about remaining authentic. If a man wants to learn to be more assertive and socially dominant in his dealing with women, that’s probably a realistic and worthwhile goal. If he wants to go from being a virgin to a guy who regularly pumps and dumps girls, like one sees on a lot of the forums, that’s something very different. Then he’s no longer looking to improve himself, his goals are selfish. I think it’s really about the motivation.

As per usual in these parts, you guys make life out to be more complicated than it needs to be. Game is a very simple thing, much of life is. I’ve explained this ad nauseum at this point, so no need to rehash there.
But what I will say though, is that what Ms. Walsh writes above presumes something very important – that the guy wants to be bothered in the first place. And that’s not an assumption I think Women can afford to keep making these days.
Simply put, Women overall have MUCH higher expectations than even 20 or 30 years ago, to say nothing of what their grandmas dealt with. And to be frank, those expectations not only are quite high and exacting -but, and here’s the kicker – the ROI really ain’t all that.
This is something I find very few Women ever give any deliberate, conscious thought about. They will often have no problem laying out what she wants, desires, expects and even demands in a Man, but will rarely if ever consider what they are bringing to the table, and WHY should a Man want to go through that arduous journey Ms. Walsh spoke of in the first place.
This is important, because for most Women, especially those still in the bloom of their peak fertility years, stuff like this never occurs to them; guys abound, and if anything, she’s trying to thin the heard so that the cream can rise to the top. But in today’s world, where quite a few guys are simply saying, you know what, it ain’t worth it, Women need to be asking themselves what they are bringing to the table, too. Why? Because for those guys still left in play, they’ll need a bit more than you merely showing up. Because they’ll have options. And as we all know, Women most want guys who have options.
