#Drugstore / #Pharmacy space has become a hot battlefield in the US for traditional #drugstore/ #pharmacy chains (CVS Health, Walgreens, etc.) vs #ecommerce behemoth Amazon. The hyper-scale player (AMZ) has ventured into various subsectors of healthcare over the last few years (also acquired PillPack in 2018).
Its recent move of launching online pharmacy in the US might well be the beginning of the disruption of the #prescription drugs supply chain in the US. It will be interesting to see how traditional drugstore/ pharmacy chains (CVS Health, Walgreens, etc.) will fight back to protect themselves from this #ecommerce behemoth.
