  1. Why I don't argue with COVID-19 Anti-Vaxxers & The Truth About Vaccine Deaths (TL;DR)
  2. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  3. This is going to be a very simple and short summary of why I don't waste my time arguing with COVID anti-vaxxers. If you want to read the full explanation, the link is here: https://bitbin.it/8mkAmeFp/
  4. ⭐ 1) They never cite any sources. They post outrageous claims that people are dying of the vaccine, or it's dangerous or deadly or some other conspiracy theory they heard, but when asked for proof of this or where they heard it they RARELY if ever provide any sources.
  5. ⭐ 2) They deflect your questions with other irrational arguments or insults. Because they have no scientific knowledge whatsoever, they simply hurl insults at people because they've had their worldview hivemind thinking challenged. They don't bother to even TRY to look up any links through Google or any other search engine to legit sites that prove what they're saying is true.
  6. ⭐ 3) They make completely incoherent, incomprehensible arguments. They start speculating about the how they believe what they believe and they don't need any evidence for that (Hint: that's not how science works). Their arguments include things about the MSM, Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, Dr. Fauci, nonsensical religious arguments that have nothing to do with being discussed and are just totally off the wall with insanity. There is no way to have a coherent or cognizant argument or debate with people like this. It's a waste of time.
  7. ⭐ 4) They claim to be a disenfranchised minority group that are all martyrs of a "tyrannical government" and act like they are a this is some kind of civil rights issue directly targeting them. This is a disgusting argument to follow. Using this "My Body My Choice" argument is absurd. You're not Martin Luther King or Malcom X. You're an idiot who doesn't understand basic high school 101 science enough to understand vaccines save lives. And don't feed me that bullshit line that "mandatory vaccines are a human rights violation" or anything like that. Have you ever heard of Small Pox? It was a disease that was responsible to up to 300 to 500 million deaths across the world in the 20th century alone. But the human race came together, regardless of religion, ideology, race, sex, or creed and gave mandatory small pox vaccines to huge swaths of the population across South America, Africa, and India, and guess what? We COMPLETELY wiped out small pox as a virus. https://youtu.be/dVmkYSkQEN8 LEARN YOUR HISTORY. We could completely wipe out COVID if it wasn't for you moronic anti-vaxxers who CONTINUE to be so entitled as to believe you are special and don't need the vaccine. As I said in my other article, "What EVERY Anti-Vaxxer Should Read Before Deciding Not To Get Vaccinated!", https://bitbin.it/MPtDhSvK/ you were lucky enough to be born in a period of time in history where most major virus and bacteria based diseases have been knocked out.
  8. ⭐ 5) They incessantly use logical fallacies https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/ and are confined to their own personal cognitive biases so much they get angry and can't put together a coherent argument. https://yourbias.is/
  9. ⭐ 6) They claim people are dying of the vaccine in HUGE amounts. The truth
  10. 💀 💀 💀 "You were lucky not to live through the plague, the times of cholera where there were thousands of people lying dead in the streets, have never had the horrible misery of having dysentery, or the Spanish flu (which the COVID death rate has already surpassed), small pox and especially polio, which crippled and impacted more than 35,000 people each year. But, thanks to vaccines, the USA has been polio free since 1979. You simply take it for granted you won't get these diseases when it reality it was government policies made before you were even born to keep you safe & alive so you can live your life in full and be completely safe and free from all those deadly and debilitating diseases from those common diseases that were even common until the later half of the 21th century. You don't realize how privileged you are not to have your life in fear of getting any of those ailments. We truly live in one of the most healthy and medically advanced ages in human history." 💀 💀 💀
  11. As you can see from this summary, I don't argue with unhinged nutty anti-vaxxers because it's a waste of time. They use the listed above tactics dis/misinformation tactics, constantly try and deflect the issue, continue to bring up completely unrelated information they expect you to debunk, engage in no type of debate, have nothing of value to contribute to the conversation, and are just being spreaders of more dis/misinformation to others who might not be vaccinated or are vaccine hesitant.
  12. Burden of Proof
  13. ---------------
  14. The burden of proof is on YOU - THE ONE MAKING THE CLAIM - to verify your information, provide logical and legitimate sources for your information. Once someone has posted something that has been debunked, you cannot simply bring up a completely different argument, source, or reading material without acknowledging the last bit of information that has just been debunked.
  15. https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/burden-of-proof
  16. No one is going to spend all the time out of their day to debunk bogus information that's continuously being posted over and over to try and satisfy the fact you are trapped in a hivemind world of your own cognitive bias and cognitive dissonance.
  17. Cognitive Bias
  18. --------------
  19. You favor things that confirm your existing beliefs.
  20. We are primed to see and agree with ideas that fit our preconceptions, and to ignore and dismiss information that conflicts with them. You could say that this is the mother of all biases, as it affects so much of our thinking through motivated reasoning. To help counteract its influence we ought to presume ourselves wrong until proven right.
  21. Think of your ideas and beliefs as software you're actively trying to find problems with rather than things to be defended. "The first principle is that you must not fool yourself – and you are the easiest person to fool." - Richard Feynman

  23. Cognitive Dissonance
  24. --------------------
  25. In the field of psychology, cognitive dissonance is the perception of contradictory information. Relevant items of information include a person's actions, feelings, ideas, beliefs, values, and things in the environment. Cognitive dissonance is typically experienced as psychological stress when persons participate in an action that goes against one or more of those things. According to this theory, when two actions or ideas are not psychologically consistent with each other, people do all in their power to change them until they become consistent. The discomfort is triggered by the person's belief clashing with new information perceived, wherein the individual tries to find a way to resolve the contradiction to reduce their discomfort.
  26. In "When Prophecy Fails: A Social and Psychological Study of a Modern Group That Predicted the Destruction of the World (1956)' Source: https://amzn.to/38gfJYN and A Theory of Cognitive Dissonance (1957) Source: https://amzn.to/3NwdLU9, Leon Festinger proposed that human beings strive for internal psychological consistency to function mentally in the real world. A person who experiences internal inconsistency tends to become psychologically uncomfortable and is motivated to reduce the cognitive dissonance. They tend to make changes to justify the stressful behavior, either by adding new parts to the cognition causing the psychological dissonance (rationalization) or by avoiding circumstances and contradictory information likely to increase the magnitude of the cognitive dissonance (confirmation bias).
  27. But you don't have the basic common sense of a flea to get a simple pin prick. Just admit you're afraid of needles and let's try to get around it.

  29. ❓ How many people have died after getting a vaccine?
  30. Between the timeframe the vaccine was first started being administered to March 2022, the VAERS tracker (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System) received 13,692 reports of death among people who got a vaccine (all brands - including Johnson & Johnson, Moderna & Pfizer, but this does not mean the vaccine caused these deaths. There could be many contributing factors to what caused these deaths including allergy to the shot, pre-existing conditions, and other factors. Doctors and safety monitors carefully review the details of each case to see if it might be linked to the vaccine.

  32. Source: https://wonder.cdc.gov/vaers.html
  33. This doesn't mean even 13,692 people have died of the vaccine. This just means there MIGHT be some correlating factor. The J&J vaccine has been linked to some blood clots in people. In other cases there could have been contributing factors we aren't aware of, such as the persons general health, their age, whether they already had COVID and other factors. BUT IT NOR ANY OTHER VACCINE IS A 100% BULLETPROOF CURE-ALL! Pease understand that vaccines can't help prevent you from getting COVID, even if you've already had it. You do not build up a natural immunity to COVID-19 like other drugs. More than likely, along with our annual flu shot, we will probably have to get an additional COVID-19 booster shot once a year.
  34. 💀 ❓ Does VAERS list deaths caused by COVID-19 vaccines? Answer: NO
  35. After clinical trials, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is how the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) monitors vaccine safety.
  36. VAERS is set up to capture potential adverse events caused by vaccines. It is the best tool we have to find what may be previously unrecognized and extraordinarily rare adverse events that may eventually be linked.
  37. VAERS cannot and does not determine whether a vaccine caused something. The CDC states this clearly in their disclaimer: "A report to VAERS does not mean that the vaccine caused the adverse event, only that the adverse event occurred some time after vaccination." The disclaimer continues, "The reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental or unverifiable."

  40. Let me introduce you to the Socratic method of debate:
  41. --QUOTE--
  42. The Socratic method is a form of cooperative argumentative dialogue between individuals, based on asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying presuppositions.
  43. --QUOTE--
  44. When you engage in argumentative tactics that attempt to intimidate, scare people, threaten people, are disrespectful, insulting, and behave in a manner akin to that of a 5 year old child who's mom won't buy them a candy bar at the grocery store, it severely impedes your argument, makes you look stupid, and makes your entire premise that there is something wrong with the COVID vaccine obvious to anyone with a comprehension level above a high school education that you have no ground to stand on. You are also using extremely poor netiquette and it demonstrates you don't know how to carry on a proper conversation or debate.

  46. If you want to be taken seriously, find real legitimate sources of information to back up your claims. Go to Google, DuckDuckGo, StartPage, or whatever and search for the premise you're making about the COVID vaccine and search for it and see if you can find a page that confirms your belief. Make sure it is a real legitimate source, and not some right wing news source, quack or charlatan doctor, or just reinforces your biases.
  47. Fox News or OANN are not reliable sources of information. These two new sources are simply propaganda arms of the Republican party. They have been caught posting about vaccine conspiracy theories, mis/disinformation and other shady tactics because the mere fact that Donald Trump, who has taken over the GOP and turned into into a nonfascist party and questioning his ties to this, his complete mishandling of the coronavirus since it emerged towards the ends of his presidency and he spread factually demonstrable proof that his Hydroxychloroquine/Chloroquine treatment didn't work, so much so that the FDA

  53. Can nasal spray prevent COVID-19 infection?
  54. There is no evidence that using a saline nasal spray can protect against COVID-19 infection. However, several studies are in progress to test whether certain other types of nasal sprays (for example, those containing iodine or nitric oxide) can be effective in treating or preventing COVID-19. The best way to learn how to treat COVID-19 is to conduct randomized controlled clinical trials. You can search for in-progress clinical trials at trialstoday.org.

  56. If you have had COVID do you still need to get the vaccine?
  57. Being reinfected with COVID-19 is possible, so you should be vaccinated whether or not you’ve had COVID-19. To learn more about vaccines and treatments for COVID-19 visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. (Last updated 05/21/2021)

  59. Does the COVID vaccine work on new mutations?
  60. There is promising evidence to suggest that the current vaccines will protect you from most variants, or mutations, of COVID-19 that are currently spreading in the United States. It is possible that some variants might cause illness in some people after they are vaccinated. However, if a vaccine is found to be less effective, it could still offer some protection. Researchers are monitoring how the new COVID-19 variants may affect how vaccines will work in real-world scenarios. To learn more about vaccines and new variants, visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. (Last updated 06/15/2021)
