Hi,

I am located in Bangalore, India. For the last few months I have been torrenting movies and TV serials over my Airtel Broadband.

Yesterday, my friend who located in the US told me that he has never torrented a movie as he is afraid of getting caught (and fined).

That made me wonder about the risks of getting caught and fined for torrenting in India.

Can someone please help me gauge risks for the same?

PS: I am aware of VPN. But that is not the point of discussion here.
