  14. On April 16, we found hosthoney .com, Skype ID is live: udithchandrasena. Skype username: Nick Huffman
  15. He told us that he offered IP rental, and after discussion and negotiation, we paid in advance for December.

However we purchased the IP block from 3rd party seller and they brought back the entire block after 5 weeks without any reason. That's not an issue with the payments. Please allow us another 2-3 weeks time period. We will provide a new block within that period . If we can't provide the new IP block we will grant a full refund and we will add extra 25 % for the refund as a fine. Again I deeply apologizing for the inconvenience. Thanks

  33. If you paid by paypal, I would watch out that the 180-days PayPal dispute policy does not expire. Since you mention you started to talk with them in april, you're close to the 6 months.

  39. Just refund the guy, anything less is a scam, you can't deliver, and it's gone beyond any reasonable timeline. The customer has requested his desired for a refund now not in 2-3 weeks if you manage to wing a solution.

  73. Do you need just the IP addresses or do you need Transit / connectivity as well?
  74. If you post some details of what your looking for we might be able to make some recommendations.
  75. Though I will say that if you need a large amount of IP addresses, to just buy your own IP range straight from the source, if you were in Australia or NZ that would be Apnic or Aron or Ripe are the other two main providers for IP ranges.
  76. Or if you need transit talk to providers directly or go to reputable resellers, such as those that actually run their own network.
  77. The provider should own their own IP ranges for renting IPs.
  78. But for large amounts rent them directly as it will save a lot of hassle.
  79. I use the term rent because an IP is like a domain name technically you don't actually own them only lease them for a certain period.
  80. I also agree you should be refunded as it sounds ridiculous.
  81. You wouldn't wait 6 months for an IP range buying it directly from the member organisation, you become a member and order the service and once approved you are good to go.
  82. This is a simple version but you get the idea.
  83. I wouldn't trust an organisation just buying random IP blocks to rent either, you don't know what those IPs have been used for and you could well end up with a blacklisted range.

  183. Not many people scrape whois databases now a days anyway as most block you from doing so.

  188. This is the issue with https://www.hivelocity.net/ offering cheap pricing to resellers, you end up with this type of rubbish service.

  190. I used to feel that way, until very recently. It's about a year ago now that I bought a domain for a design client ahead of their order (didn't want to lose the name), so it had my info on it, in the clear. Developed the site, changed the whois to them, then protected within a week or so. to this day, I still get calls from thickly accented web developers wanting to design a site for it. Clearly they scraped the whois and never looked at the site.
