  1. Three contestants compete in a (hopefully) lightning fast game of trivia.
  2. A question with multiple correct answers is asked (see below for just a few of the many different questions that you might see during the game.) Once the host has finished reading the question, the three players may ring in using !buzz. On any question involving the clue board, the player who rings in first may choose from any of the three clues to answer. The second player has the choice of the remaining two (or all three if the first player misses on their clue), and the slowest player to ring in must take whatever clue remains (or choose from the clues still on the board if either of the two previous players missed on their clue).
  3. What a correct answer is worth depends on how many players answer their part of the question correctly.
  4. In round 1, if all three players are right, they add .05 mBTC to their score each. If two players are right, they each add .1 mBTC to their scores each. If only one player is right, the player adds .25 mBTC to their score. In addition, the first player of the day who is the only one to answer a question correctly, they win a .5 mBTC non-score bonus.
  5. In round 2, values essentially double, with the exception of .1 mBTC for two players answering correctly, which instead becomes .25 mBTC for the two players that answer correctly.
  6. There are ten questions in each of the first two rounds.
  7. THE COUNTDOWN ROUND:
  8. At this point, each contestant is assigned a quota of how many questions they must answer correctly based on their score. The first player to fulfill their quota wins the game.
  9. The player with the highest score must give 3 correct answers to win the game. Second place must give 4 correct answers to win, and third place 5.
  10. Questions remain the same as in previous rounds, with the exception that a player can go on and give the other correct answers for a question if their first answer is correct.
  11. Regardless of who wins the game, all three players keep their earnings, while the winning player picks a number 1-5 to determine what bonus is added to their score for winning the game, ranging from .5 mBTC to 2.5 mBTC.
  12. There are multiple different kinds of questions that can be asked in this game.
  13. 1) The 'name' question. Example: Currently, there are four major syndicated game shows. Name me three of the hosts of those four shows.
  14. 2) The 'fill in the blank' question. Example: Let's go to the movies, everybody. Popcorn's on me! Unfortunately, it seems the theater's lost a few of the letters in their marquee, leaving some blanks to be filled in.
  15. THE ______ PATIENT starring RALPH ______ and ________ SCOTT THOMAS
  16. Here's what you need to do.
  17. FINISH THE ACTOR'S LAST NAME
  18. FINISH THE ACTRESS' FIRST NAME
  19. FINISH THE TITLE
  20. 3) The 'look at the board' question. Example:
  21. One of the most prolific game show host of all time is the late, great Bill Cullen. Throughout his career, he hosted more than 30 game shows. I will name three TV game shows, you tell me, did Bill Cullen host the show, or did someone else host the show?
  22. BLANKETY BLANKS
  23. THREE ON A MATCH
  24. EYE GUESS
  25. 4) The MEMORY BUSTER. Example:
  26. DETROIT, CINCINNATI, LOS ANGELES, ST. LOUIS, CHICAGO, HOUSTON
  27. Tell me, which of these three cities have a baseball team with an animal in its name?
  28. There are many other kinds of questions that you may see during the game, but these should give you a general idea of what to expect during the game.
