  3. You'll also be able to stream content from your social media accounts such as Instagram and Google+, as well as cloud services such as Dropbox and Google Drive. Just Dance Now Need to entertain your kids on a rainy day?
  4. Video Netflix , Netflix is yet to offer its own hardware. The app itself is free, which is good because you need it to setup the device. If your home has two or more isolated networks available, your Android device may auto-switch between networks depending on signal strength. It seems to me that Spectrum has likely previously supported Chromecast but later removed this functionality due to some kind of a deal with Roku.
  5. Like using a web browser on a desktop, the mobile versions of Google Chrome essentially mirror your screen, letting everyone around see what you're seeing on your phone. The free version slots in a few annoying ads and limits video length to a few minutes, but for frugal streamers it's the easiest, most effective method to taking your content from your mobile device to the big screen. My modem is Charters but the router is mine, I'm guessing it works just fine connecting it wireless or wired through the router but the wording on the website seemed somewhat unclear. The app itself is free, which is good because you need it to setup the device. It cannot be watch for two people. Streaming personal media from your device is also supported. For a video demonstration, check out the YouTube video at the bottom of this article. If that does not help, please give us a chance to help you by dropping a mail to info video-tv-cast. I have been using Roku Express + for last 3 days already. It kept dropping the quality. The on demand videos are little better, but they are still having issue with video quality. I can watch Netflix and YouTube without degrading video quality. It kept dropping the quality. The on demand videos are little better, but they are still having issue with video quality. I tend to agree with you about the video quality on the app on the big tv when it comes to sports, but most everything else is okay for me. Even sports look great through the app on my phone, although I bet it wouldn't be so good if I cast the app to the tv. I ordered a different model Spectrum tv app chromecast ultra 4K. I will try to connect with wifi ac first. If the video is still bad, then I will use an Ethernet cable. I think the Spectrum app should have some buffer before playing the video. I remember when netflix started. The video quality was not that good at that time. Over the years, netflix has improved their video performance. It kept dropping the quality. The on demand videos are little better, but they are still having issue with video quality. I can watch Netflix and YouTube without degrading video quality. The other way to workaround this issue is to add a Wifi extender to boost the wifi signal for the Roku Express. In my opinion, Spectrum app team should fix the video performance issue in wireless, because I can watch the Netflix movies on the same Roku Express+ device without any video lags. I'd avoid the Roku Express or Express+ models, especially the 2016 models that are not quad core. You can also use the voice remote with the 3600 series as well as the 3810 series sticks. It is an econo stick that just doesn't have the horsepower. Slow, lower resolution, not spectrum tv app chromecast remote compatible. I didn't see any difference in how well the 3810R model can handle weaker wifi signals. I saw no real difference between it and the 3600 series sticks, concerning wifi. It's been pretty true for the past couple of years that ethernet is the preferred setup for 4K.
