Who needs Jenny from the square when you have @JayFromHouston? One nearby Jennifer Lopez doppelganger is breaking the web with her likeness to the 'Adoration Don't Cost a Thing' artist.
Meet Jay Garay, who has piled on 134,000 adherents on Instagram because of her stunning similarity to Lopez.
The similarity is especially striking when Garay, a wellness contender, is shot from the side; her sensational cheekbones could without much of a stretch be Lopez's, yet Garay's arms are perceptibly more jacked.
Garay's ascent to notoriety started a little more than a month prior when one of her photographs was included in Instagram's Explore page.
"It was recently ordinary selfies I had taken in my restroom and individuals were expecting that I was Jennifer Lopez, remarking 'Are you J-Lo?' No...I'm Jay from Houston!" she said.
From that point, the ascent to notoriety was cosmic, with her Instagram following swelling over 100,000 out of a month.
"It's been quite insane. I never anticipated that it would go this outrageous, however it's an astounding feeling," she said.
While it might appear like her @JayFromHouston handle is a riff on "Jenny from the Block" - Lopez's hit 2002 single - Garay said she's had the moniker since center school well before the relationship with Lopez started.
For Garay, the correlation with Lopez is an appreciated affiliation.
"She is my golden calf. She's some person that I gazed upward to since I was a young lady. It is complimenting," Garay channeled.
Obviously, a snappy rising to notoriety accompanies its offer of haters. In a current post, Garay urged her devotees to act naturally and remain agreeable in their own skin.
"Women, let your hair down, take that cosmetics off and flaunt that common excellence we as a whole have! We are on the whole wonderful in our own skin," Garay as of late kept in touch with her adherents.
