27 Jun 2017 The SPD-S does not recognize any files with other extensions. Sample rate conversion is not supported. Files are imported at the sample rate of 44.1 kHz. If any files with sample rates other than 44.1 kHz are imported, they will produce a deviation in playback pitch.

I tried to import wav. files into my Roland SPD-SX but some of them say You can only import .wav files if they have a 16-bit bit rate and a sampling rate of 44.1kHz. so if you are still having trouble with your .wav files, try first converting them
The SPD-SX can import .WAV or AIFF files that are 16-bit with a sample rate of 44.1kHz. Make sure you transfer them to the "root directory" - (Do not place them into any folders that may be on the flash drive). Note: Only 16bit/ 44.1kHz .WAV files can be imported into the SPD-SX.
