The origional post from when this was created is below but new events have caused a change in this page, title and link. Not only was Brison diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (DIPG) with a zero % percent survival rate (which he is by the way beating the odds) his younger brother Preston was just diagnosed 12/23/16 with thyroid cancer that has spread to him lymph nodes. This is more than any family should have to bear, two sons, 11 months apart being diagnosed with cancer! Having one very sick child is hard enough in every aspect, emotionally, physically, financially it is all so draining and most of the time you feel like you are drowning and now it is starting all over again. Preston's diagnosis came right after Brison's latest MRI scan showed incredibly great news, but there was no time for us to even rejoice in the good news before being slammed with yet another horrifc diagnosis. Please continue to pray for the Ricker family as they face this horrific journey, pray for Brison and Preston to be healed and for God to continue to give strength to the entire family.
