time is a temporary schism of the mind which has solidified into a physical barrier between the internal and external worlds. being constructed of habit and maintained by unconscious manipulation, any control of over this life seems impossible. the default personality is a reflection of the original mind which can only exist outside of time, the beginning, end, or any time the barrier is broken by contents of the underworld being lifted into the overworld for examination. this is the shedding of sin that makes our lives a purgatory existence. the reason changing our personality is so difficult is because like seth brundle we all have flies in our teleportation devices and don't know it. flies should be removed to prevent the creation of monsters. the world seems dead and empty because no life is reaching it from the source, as soon as a part is separated from the whole it begins to die. remember that it only took one man and his family to preserve all the good in the world during the flood, I fear a repeat of this episode because our lives are run by dead people
