While we had the sad news of 3 From Hell star Sid Haig passing revealed earlier today, there is some bright news from the horror world as well.
In its limited 3-day release, 3 From Hell pulled in $1.92 million. Nearly 122,000 people came out to see the movie, resulting in a per-screen average $1,212. The movie was in the top five grossing films every night of it's release.
Fathom Events, who organized the screenings, were so impressed they are doing one more special screening – on Monday, October 14th for the fourth, and final time. Theatre goers will also receive the limited edition poster that was offered on one of the original nights.
