Pointe des Châteaux is one of the most memorable landmarks and natural tourist attractions in Guadeloupe. The attraction is in fact a peninsula which means “almost an island” since it is a piece of land covered in waters but is still connected with the main land. Anyway, the notable feature of this tourist destination is the crashing of the waves on the rocks and the strong winds – it is being visited by more than half a million tourists each year.
