  1. Many of you may remember that last year, we helped then nine-year-old Abby with locating a life-saving cancer medicine to treat her acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Although the medication Abby needed was being impacted by a national shortage, #TeamMcKesson sprang into action and had the treatment she needed shipped to her doctor within days.
  2. To help other pediatric patients in a similar situation, Abby’s mother, Laura, founded Angels for Change.
  3. And today, I grabbed my Kleenex and coffee because McKesson is hosting an Angels for Change Summit to talk about the importance of other healthcare companies stepping up to help the littlest patients in a big way. Help Laura and Angels for Change make sure no parent has to hear again: your child’s cure is not available.
  4. Together, we will continue the fight against life-saving drug shortages — one product, one partner, one Abby at a time.
