Out actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson plays "Mitchell" on ABC's hit comedy Modern Family. Ferguson was born on October 22, 1975 in Missoula, Montana. Acting has always been in Ferguson's blood. He joined the Albuquerque Children's Theater at age eight and went on to star in a number of high school productions.
After graduating high school in 1994, Ferguson attended renowned dramatic arts school The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City.
