Inchworm
My hands itch for more
They inch through life a whore
Just itching for warmth
Let me push down on the scar
Make it move near and far
Past year, we loved as one
Purest white graced your being
Dark sadness erased my meanining
We looked at the brightest star
Everynight, inching more west
Harder to spot, beautiful we catch
A year passed and little changed
I drop tidal waves of true emotion
The flaccid demeanor I couldn't love harder
Ageing, I wish we could we would grow
Only when we grew older, we would know
Sad, sad, sad we can only worm towards oblivion
When we both remember dire love in that sitaution
We both smile at each other in these days
Maybe it was happiness we felt in grace
Or I was mephistopheleses begging for a taste
Angelic beauty I know I was worthy of,
I will not nor ever foresake
It ferments now into love I can only embrace
If nothing else let me be to you the inchworm
Inching with you to the nothinging lessers worship
With or without you I will inch on through this
With you there or not you will see me fly
Through a million raindrops I will soar
You will see the butterfly you wouldn't bore
