  1. Alarms
  2. Soon enough, they slowed, and the stars slid back into place, except for one big difference, everything looked the same. Right in front of the window, a huge planet loomed. It was mostly green, with large splotches of blue, and a couple dots of tan. Swirling clouds could be seen, and the two moons glowed in the light of the red sun.
  3. On top of the planet they could see a huge expanse of white.
  4. Grayson gasped and hopped out of his chair. He walked out of the bedroom and came to the main room
  5. “Wow. I always wanted to go to a planet.”
  6. Aly nodded “Anything is better than this ship.”
  7. Soon, the food got there.
  8. Aly and Grayson ate their food, and talked about the planet.
  9. Aly said she said she was planning to steal a ship and go there.
  10. Grayson wanted to leave too. But he didn’t say so.
  11. The ship shook.
  12. “What was that?” Grayson asked
  13. “Eh, probably nothing”
  14. Soon, after a game of holochess, (Aly won again) the food got there.
  15. After dinner, and a round of The Chest 120 (A puzzle game where you found holograms and stuff hidden around the room).
  16. Grayson felt guilty about the number of times that Olive knocked and Aly pretended she didn’t hear anything.
  17. Grayson realized that Aly used her HoloVision for much more than just HoloChess.
  18. Grayson and Aly were in the middle of a discussion about how to hack HoloChess, when Aly’s HoloPhone binged dully.

  22. Aly Richard.
  23. Come to the Blaster Range. You may bring your Friend Grayson if you want to. The group will be at Range 13. Olive and her Father are there. Mind your manners.
  24. Archive Delete
  25. Aly ordered a 2 person HoverT, and they headed for the Blaster Range.
  26. When they got there, Aly walked towards the Alpha Blaster Range, ABR.
  27. Grayson stopped.
  28. “Wait. I thought we were just going to the General Blaster Range. We’re going to the ABR?”
  29. Aly laughed, ”You think my dad would go to the Delta Range?”
  30. “But I thought-”
  31. “-Deltas couldn’t go to the Alpha Blaster Range? Yup. But you have an invitation so you can go wherever you want… ”
  32. Aly walked along at a quick pace, her dark grey boots clicking along the floor.
  33. Grayson started walking again.
  34. “You know, there are places no Alpha has been.”
  35. Aly gave him a sideways glance “really? I’ve been on all 90 levels of this whole freakin ship! Well, some doors don’t open to my fingerprint. Like the boy’s bathroom”
  36. Grayson laughed “Why were you trying to- Wait, 90 levels?”
  37. Aly nodded “Yea. Of course! Didn’t they tell you that?”
  38. Grayson gave her a funny look “Uh, no. I guess they told all the kids in sector Delta That there were 109 levels.”
  39. Grayson watched the Sector Alpha Passengers walk along the passageway.
  40. He wondered why it was always so bright there. And so white. The corners were so crisp and clean, and the doors slid in smoothly, without the grinding jerking motion of the sector Delta doors.
  41. “Anyway,” Aly told him as they rounded the corner “We’re here.”
  42. Aly looked at Grayson as he took in the huge domed room, with floating hologram targets, that buzzed around the room. They had walked into a huge cylindrical room, with many flat, donut shaped walkways that floated around the room. A very composed lady walked over, with perfect features that were made by plastic surgery.
  43. “Ah, perfect your father told me you’d be here.“ Angelina (that was what it said on her name tag) said,
  44. “Ok. Where’s my dad’s platform?” Aly said, turning away from Grayson, who was admiring the many platforms floating around.
  45. “He’s over there.” Angelina said pointing at a small platfrom. “I’ll move the platform over here so you can board.”
  46. Angelina looked over at Grayson.
  47. “He’s with me.” Aly said.
  48. “Oh?” Angelina stifled a gasp “Ah, very well, here are two EDs”
  49. She gave them two cylindrical metal things that clamped onto their pistols.
  50. The platform was now connected to the walkway they stood on.
  51. Grayson looked down at the bottom of the pit, and he could see a huge industrial sized holoprojector, with a glass alloy plate over it.
  52. Grayson was looking at the many other walkways that went around the pit at every level, and the windows that looked out at the range.
  53. Grayson inspected the cylindrical on his blaster curiously.
  54. There was some kind of energy dampening mechanism.
  55. Aly nudged him “Come on! Let’s get on. Oh, and those are Energy Dampeners. They make the lasers nonlethal” Aly blasted the floor a few times. It left a dull glow for a fraction of a second, but there was no lasting damage. “It still hurts a lot when you get shot.”
  56. Aly walked onto the platform, Grayson behind her.
  57. Olive gave Grayson an angry glare, as if it was his fault that Aly didn’t like her.
  58. Grayson swallowed “Uh, If you want me to leave I-I can-”
  59. “No! It’s not that big of a deal. Right Dad? Right Olive?”
  60. Aly smiled big “Come on Grayson I’ll teach you how to set up your target”
  61. So a couple minutes later Grayson and Aly were firing away at moving targets
  62. Olive had some kind of robot attachment to her arm, so she basically just had to think about her target and she would hit it.
  63. Grayson and Aly were getting sick of her bragging.
  64. Aly and Olive’s Dad were talking in a corner, and Olive, Aly and Grayson were in another corner.
  65. About 10 minutes in, an alarm went off. Grayson jumped in surprise, and noticed Aly looking worriedly at her Dad. Her dad was typing furiously into his tablet, when the lights flickered off, and red emergency lights buzzed on. The noise of the alarm and the hordes of screaming passengers was deafening. The Platforms glided towards the walkways. And the composed lady was yelling at everyone to calm down and keep calm.
  66. Then With an earsplitting wail the Gravity simulator turned off abruptly, and everything was eerily quiet. Grayson found himself weightless. Without meaning to, he drifted away from the platform.
  67. “Grayson!” Aly yelled. Without thinking, she propelled herself towards Grayson, and knocked him into another platform. Then Gravity game pounding back briefly, and Aly fell towards the Platform Grayson was on. Just in time, Aly was weightless again, and she landed a bit softer then she would normally have fallen.
  68. Gravity turned on again, but the only sound was a dull roar. The other platforms had already gotten to the walkways. The only other platforms were a few empty ones, and their platform.
  69. “Aly?” Grayson said shakily, his knuckles white from holding on to the platform, “What’s happening?”
  70. The platform they were standing on tilted slightly, and the red emergency lights gave the room a panicky feel.
  71. Aly paled as she took in the tilting platform.
  72. “Uh, Grayson, does it feel like we’re tilting at all?”
  73. Grayson frowned “Uh, No, but why- Oh.”
  74. Aly exhaled nervously.
  75. “Grayson, I think we’re crashing.”
