  3. We also ordered the sausage buns shaped like dogs. We like our Lo Po Bang to have a good amount of wintermelon inside, the paste should be smooth and the pastry soft and flaky. Are you looking for a quiet, cozy dine out with loved ones? Yum cha is a tradition on weekend mornings for the locals, and it is an opportunity for families gathers to chat and eat dim sum and drink Chinese tea.
  4. Most of the Hui people are from North Western China. The ambience isnt too quirky yet quite compact and japanese feels!
  5. Plump shrimp, perfect chewiness to the skin, and generous ratio of filling. The array of sauces, every sauce has a unique and extraordinary taste. After we were seated, they asked what tea we wanted and gave us a menu to mark in what we wanted to order. You may have actually tried variations of this street snack in dim sum restaurants without even knowing it. For mains we had ordered the chicken wok along with noodles. It's a nicer reservation for sure.
  6. Yum - Maybe it was her first day. Nice ambience, delicious food and great service.
  7. An essential element of the culinary culture of Macau, Guangdong and Hong Kong, going to yum cha for the Cantonese people is almost considered a ritual for weekend mornings, where families gather all under one roof to catch up over Chinese tea and dim sums. With sort of a similar idea in mind, Yum Cha District was brought about, to bring together lovers of Pan-Asian cuisine all under one roof, and ensure they all have a yum cha district time enjoying cinnamon tea and some steamed, bite-sized buns. Located in Banani 11, on the same building as Crimson Cup, Yum Cha District is the latest addition to the bunch of restaurants that cater to the foodies of this part of the town. The pastel-colored walls are nothing short of welcoming. The contemporary take on the interior, with colorful wall arts and black and white chairs scream all there is to the word comfort. Are you looking for a quiet, cozy dine out with loved ones. Yum Cha District is just the yum cha district for it. The perfect way to start your dine out, since dim sums are of small portions and leave plenty of space for more to order. Are your taste buds going crazy, imagining just how good it tastes. With nothing but authentic Asian Fusion dishes, Yum Cha District is bound to drive all foodies crazy. Delicate, and yet, with strong, lingering flavors, the dishes will forever change the Pan-Asian scene in Dhaka. Yum Cha District has officially started its journey from today, 30th of October, 2017. Should the existing restaurants be on the lookout. Have you thought about who you will ask to yum cha with you yet.
